Warby Parker reimagines how consumers purchase glasses
Since its launch, Warby Parker has revolutionized the way people purchase their eyewear by introducing the direct-to-consumer strategy making it accessible to everyone. Along with making a pair of affordable glasses they also recognized that 15% of the world’s population were unable to learn or work well because of the lack of access to glasses. Warby Parker partnered up with non-profits to develop the “buy a pair, give a pair” program that distributes a pair of glasses to someone in need. The program also trains men and women to administer basic eye exams and sell glasses at affordable prices. The program also provides vision care and glasses to school-age children in their classrooms where teachers can spot issues.
